Situation of projects submitted on March, 1st 2010 in the Bucharest-Ilfov region

On March, 1st 2010, 239 projects were submitted at the BIRDA headquarters for non-reimbursable funding through the Regional Operational Program. By the same date 39 projects were contracted and 58 applications which were submitted for various areas of intervention were rejected. We would like to mention that 142 projects are in the evaluation phase. Status of projects submitted on March, 1st 2010.

The amount of 393.10 million Euros was allocated to the Bucharest-Ilfov region through the Regional Operational Program (REGIO), representing 8.86% of the total funds managed by ROP. The distribution of funds is carried out on the REGIO priority axis available to funding projects prepared by the beneficiaries as well as by the local public authorities, NGO-s, SME-s, worship units, universities, etc. Each priority axis has a certain budget allocated to it and it comprises a number of areas of intervention which focus on achieving regional development objectives.More information


The Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Agency (BIRDA) is an intermediary body within the Regional Operational Program and it represents the organization where the funding applications are submitted and evaluated.
